The Lodge
The Lodge is a nurse led, outpatient counselling service for adults over 18 years of age who are concerned about their use of alcohol, prescribed drugs, over the counter drugs or gambling.

People generally attend an individual appointment (weekly initially), to determine what concerns /difficulties they have and what they wish to do about it. The service offers:

- Skills training – anxiety management, anger management etc
Accessing the service:
- Referral
directly from a G.P., a hospital doctor or through services affiliated to
St. Vincent’s Hospital. Person
must reside in Community Care Area 7
