Clinical Nurse Manager 1 - CNMI

The CNMI will be responsible for the management, recovery orientated care and treatment of service users, to ensure that the optimum standard of nursing care is provided in compliance with An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann Guidelines, Mental Health Act 2001 and it’s Regulations, Mental Health Commission Judgement Support Framework 2015 -2017 and Policies.

The primary role of the CNMI will be one of clinical and professional leadership, supporting the nursing team, promoting the development of nursing staff.

The CNMI will deputise for the CNMII when required and will play a pivotal role as part of the Multidisciplinary team.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Be registered in the Psychiatric Division of the Register of Nurses kept by An Bord Altranais
  agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (NMBI) or be entitled to be so registered.
• Have at least 3 years’ post-registration psychiatric nursing experience.
• Have adequate knowledge of psychiatric nursing administrative procedures.
• Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of
  the role.

St. Vincent’s Hospital, Fairview requires a senior grade occupational therapist on a part-time (0.5 WTE) basis to provide support to its Adolescent Inpatient Unit, working as part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to client care. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the healthcare sector and be able to demonstrate a passion for improving the quality of life for those they are entrusted with.

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for the provision of a high quality person-centred Occupational Therapy service of the Child & Adolescence Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
